Night Orient Non-alcoholic alternative to Whiskey, let us introduce Black Reserve!
An excellent non-alcoholic choice to enjoy as a substitute for a whisky or even better as the base for a non-alcoholic cocktail. With a smooth and velvety style, it is perfect after dinner, in front of the fire or with an ice cube on the terrace with friends.
Tip: serve at approximately 6-8 °C .
Glass choice: A low tumbler or rocks glass (preferably with a large block of ice) is great for highlighting the dark, rounder flavor profile. Serve neat (without a mixer) or with an ice cube to soften the sweetness and add elegance. For a lighter version: pour over ice and top with a few splashes of soda — this helps open up the flavors without losing character.
Pairs well with: grilled portobello mushrooms with balsamic reduction and arugula – deep flavor and acidity for balance.
Roasted almonds or hazelnuts with a little sea salt and possibly a touch of raw sugar – the nuttiness reflects the dark tones.
Small tasting portion of blue cheese (e.g. Roquefort or Gorgonzola) on a thin cracker – the saltiness and depth of the cheese matches the rich character.
Mini cubes of dark chocolate (70% cocoa or more) – the bitterness and richness of the chocolate are a perfect match.
Sliced pear with a drizzle of honey and toasted pecans – the lightness of the fruit balances dark sweetness and nuttiness.
Dark chocolate mousse with flake salt – chocolate + salt enhances and balances the drink's flavor profile.
